Pastor John McNeal started a bible study group in Old Town East back in 2003 named Rust Creativity Encouraged. The purpose of the group was to create a place where people could be encouraged to pick up the dreams they had put down so long ago. Later the group became know as Creativity Encouraged. It has been a great group that is very diverse, because no group of people have a corner on creativity. The fact that we are made in God's image reminds us that everyone has creativity sown in the fiber of their beings. We have had people come from all over te city to be a part of this group, we hope that their will be several groups like this one over the next few years pop up all over the city.

Whether you are a professional artist, a graphic designer, a novice, a student or a city planner the arts ministry is interested in connecting with you at our monthly meetings. Take one moment to think about what you would like to see happen through our church, now think about a group of highly creative people accomplishing that. You see the arts ministry is a place to stop and reflect on what we are doing as a church and how we can engage people in a different way then we are accustom to. We come along side ministries and ask "how can we assist you in what you are already doing". Why do we do this? We do this because in so doing we are helping to raise a banner high for Jesus.
Every second Monday of the month 7:30pm
Contact us if you are leading a creative group here at Vineyard so we can let the community know about it

The arts ministry has joined in helping the Environmental Care Group at Vineyard Columbus with a community garden project. There are three garden plots that this group has been harvesting for the food pantry. We are joining them and adding one more garden that was started by CCAD exhibitions
