Arts & Christian Ministry
We are one body in Christ

Our group is one part of that body. Creative people are an essential part of a healthy community. We are not an arts group that just happen to be Christians. We are the church; a group of creative people using whatever gifts God has given us to share His life with the world.

We strive to live right before God and offer our creativity back to God. By consistently inviting the Spirit to play an active role in our work we hope to show people  Jesus.  We hope Jesus' message of freedom is communicated through our work and our lives, transforming those around us. read more

Is there a place for me, am I valued?
Visual Artists,

Looking back over the years we want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those who invested their lives into the arts community.   Julie Stover, Annie (Amato) Tress, Jeaneen Eckardt, have respectively labored for the arts community. In 2007 Diana Lynd lead the visual arts ministry and started our monthly gatherings in its current form.  They have poured their lives, passions and hopes into the ministry and deserve our respect and thanks.

Our ministry team has been praying & working hard for the arts community.  We have been working to create a place for artists to gather at the church.  Pastor Kerry Davis and Pastor John McNeal support has been crucial.  We are very blessed to have the support of the church while we are building a home base.

Creativity, Giving, Receiving, Personal Time, and Community Time are five key fundamentals we are building this community on.  God has given us a vision for the arts community and called us to be good stewards with the gifts we have been given.  To cultivate a community that invests in each others’ art, lives and relationship with God. Creative talents are valuable and we believe God has purpose for his creativity.  In the coming year we plan to connect with other ministries and are excited to see how God will use the arts to impact the larger community.
